Nitza Medina-Garcia, CRM, MLIS is a business owner, certified records manager, records and information governance consultant, project manager and software trainer. She is the founder of InfoCompass, Inc. a consulting firm that advises law firms and corporate legal departments on how to optimize their information governance. She currently facilitates the ARMA Legal Industry Group with a fabulous committee of legal information governance experts from around the United States.
Nitza’s over 27 years of information governance experience includes working at:
-- iManage on their professional services team implementing iManage Records Manager software at law firms around the world.
-- Episcopal Church headquarters as their corporate records manager, where she ran an in-house records center that included business and archival records.
-- Hunter College as a project archivist working on a special project with bilingual historical records.
Nitza holds a Master’s degree from Pratt Institute in Library and Information Science. She is a Past President of the Greater Sacramento Capitol ARMA Chapter, participated in the ARMA Pacific Region Chapter leaders advisory committee and is currently a proud Girl Scout Troop Leader.
